The Huawei Ascend G6 is a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display device with 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) spread across it. With HD resolution displays readily available in this price range, G6 won’t shine with quarter as many pixels. The Huawei Ascend G6 is powered by Snapdragon 200 Quad Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by 1 GB RAM. The internal storage is 4 GB and can be further extended using MicroSD support. The software is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s emotion UI on top. The slim body casing measuring 7.5 mm houses an 8 MP BSI sensor autofocus camera at the rear along with a 5 MP shooter at the front. The battery capacity is 2000 mAh and connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. Ascend G6 is also amazing light at only 115 grams.
Huawei also introduced Ascend G750, a 5.5 inch phablet fueled by MT6592 octa core chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz. The display resolution is 720p HD and the processor is assisted by 2 GB RAM. Internal storage is 8 GB and all the Media files you would like to see on the large display can find a place in expandable MicroSD storage. On the imaging front Huawei has provided with 13 MP, f2.2 aperture camera unit sourced from Sony. Front 5 MP camera is no slouch either with large pixel size of 1.4 micrometer, topped by 2 mm wide angled lens. Battery capacity is 3000 mAh and connectivity features include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. With Ascend G6, Huawei has focused more on the aesthetics rather than providing top notch specs, it has been priced at 16,999, which seems overpriced for a 4.5 Inch display snapdragon 200 phone. The Huawei Ascend G750 on the other hand will face competition from the phablets like T2 Ultra and HTC Desire 816. It has been priced at Rs. 24,999 and we expect best buy price to be lower than this.
