The 4.7 inch IPS LCD smartphone display of the PadFone E flaunts 720p HD resolution, which is also similar to what you get with the 10.1 inch display (1280 x 800) dock. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The software is Android 4.3 jelly bean which will do just fine. The 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset with Cortex A7 cores (not Krait) enjoys 1 GB RAM support and Adreno 305 GPU. The internal storage is 16 GB and it is not yet certain if it is expandable. The back shooter has a 13 MP sensor and at the front you will get a 1 MP primary camera. The phone will have 1820 mAh battery. The slightly underrated battery will be compensated by 5000 mAh present in the dock. Connectivity features include 3G/HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with aGPS support. The PadFone is only 9.08 mm thick and weighs a moderate 126 grams. Asus PadFone E will come in 2 colors – Johny walker black or pear white. The PadFone E is expected to be available globally by march 2014 for around 35,000 INR.
